Healthy 2011




I've been enjoying my fig and sesame bran muffins for a few weeks now (I froze most of them in a zipper-lock bag; otherwise, I would have eaten a dozen in one day). In fact, I'm having one right now with a cup of tea, as I watch the clouds slowly clear and listen to the snow plows rumble around the village. The recipe is now up on Newsday.com.

  1. Thanks for reminding me that I still have some dried figs in my cupboard waiting to be used. I now have my second recipe to use them all up as your muffins sound delicious. Wow, it sure does look cold there. Looking out my window today I see driving rain and wind, but at least I can still wear just a t-shirt and shorts.
