I was beside myself when I saw imported Palacios chorizo at the
IGA today. Previously, you could only buy the Goya brand (which tastes more like Hillshire Farms Kielbasa than the real thing; I'm embarrassed to admit I'm qualified to make that comparison) on Main Street (Cavaniola's has been carrying Palacios since it opened). I'm busy getting my kids off to sleepaway camp, so a recipe will have to wait until early next week, but I didn't want to hold onto the news in case anyone wants to enjoy this spicy cured sausage over the weekend. I might very well try these Fresh
Garlic, Chorizo, and Pork Burgers on Sunday.
