I’m still enjoying my parents’ care package. Maybe you saw me yesterday, hurrying toward the IGA to buy some Arborio rice for my saffron risotto, wrapped in my Bulgarian shawl. When I returned from shopping, I read about a new website where you can post awesome old photos of your parents. It’s called, of course, myparentswereawesome.com, and it inspired me to post this old photo I have of my own parents. Thanks again, Mom and Dad, for the saffron. You were and are awesome.
