It was the first picking day for the members of Quail Hill Community Farm, and the best first day in recent memory. The spinach was lush and abundant, there were rows of arugula and tatsoi, and the lettuces were beautiful beyond belief. I'm off to a dance recital and then to dinner at Town Line Barbecue afterwards, but I will be having a big spinach salad tomorrow night, and then maybe some pasta with arugula (greens on the side) on Monday.
